HALLELUJAH! Have a computer and want to prepare for Christmas in a special way? There’s a whole bunch of “flash mob” scenes on the internet where people invade a public space and break into singing the “Hallelujah Chorus.” If interested, check out a scene from a mall food court at alphabetphotography.com (look for link to Christmas Food Court Flash Mob) or a scene from Macy’s Department Store where 650 singers entertained shoppers at philly.com/philly/video/106492678.html
MORE MONEY SENT FOR MISSIONS Thanks to your generous support of our Mite Boxes and designated “Missions” envelopes, another $209.00 has been forwarded to the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League to support mission work around the world!
HELP NEEDED THIS THURSDAY! Our Christmas Tree arrives this Thursday. Help is needed for our annual decorating party starting at 11:00 a.m. A pizza lunch will be provided all helpers!
NEXT SUNDAY Bring your “Mighty Mite Boxes” filled with coins and bills for missions. You may pick up a “Mite Box” today from the table in the Narthex. Return it next Sunday filled with change. This will be our last collection of Mites during 2010, so dig deep and clean out all those pockets and drawers and couches! Every penny gets mailed to support worldwide missions!
YEAR-END DONATIONS As the year quickly draws to a close, all 2010 tax-deductible donations must legally be received by Friday 31 December 2010. The only exception is gifts mailed to the Church Administrative Center and postmarked on or before 31 December. Year-end contribution summary statements will be mailed early in January.
HELP CLEAR THE NARTHEX BEFORE CHRISTMAS! If you’ve not yet done so, please pick up your assigned 2011 offering envelopes from the carts in the Narthex. This helps save on postage costs!
USHERS: TAKE NOTE Next week’s service will involve Usher Team #1: Bernadette Hendry, Greg Hendry, Anna Price.
