PORTALS OF PRAYER The July - September edition of “Portals of Prayer” are available in regular print and large print free of cost from the Information Rack in the Narthex.
FLAGS So many of you raved about our Anniversary bulletin cover. Because it’s such a unique way to celebrate the rich diversity of Historic First Lutheran, a suggestion has been made to allow members to donate “their” flag to be hung either along the side aisles of church or in the gym. Exact details are being researched, but what do you think about this idea? Share your thoughts with Pastor Schaar.
JACKIE SCHAAR MEMORIAL The memorial service for Jackie Schaar will be Tuesday 29 June at 4:00 p.m. at Terranova Church in Irvine.
LARGE PRINT ORDER OF SERVICE It has been suggested again that we make available copies of the weekly order of service in larger print. We hate to “sound Lutheran” but we have done this before and no one made use of them. If a larger print order of service would help you, please speak to Pastor Schaar.
PRAYER SUGGESTIONS If you write prayer suggestions on the back of the attendance cards, please know they are always seen. The prayers are immediately included in our Wednesday “Prayer Force One” and also included ASAP on our Sunday prayer list.
