ALTAR FLOWERS are given to the glory of God by Rudy Melinat, in remembrance of his wedding anniversary on 16 May and in celebration of his 94th birthday on 22 May.
A REMINDER OF GOD’S LOVE The additional bouquet of roses on the altar are from the more than 150 bushes on our church campus. They are a reminder to us of God’s love and constant provision for all our needs.

YOUTH SUMMER CAMP The Pacific Southwest District Outdoor Ministry is hosting a week of camp at Concordia University Conference and Retreat Center (formerly Arrowhead Lutheran Camp) August 1-6, 2010. We had so much fun last summer hiking, sleeping in tepees, making crafts, eating great food, learning about Jesus, making lasting friendships and enjoying our time in God’s beautiful creation! We hope you will join us this summer! We have camps for ages 5-17. Online registration is now open. Visit www.outdoorministry.org to get more information and to register. Need more information or have questions? Send us an email info@outdoorministry.org Scholarships are available for those in need. Contact Pastor Schaar for scholarship information.
NEXT SUNDAY Bring your “Mighty Mite Boxes” filled with coins and bills for missions. You may pick up a “Mite Box” today from the table in the Narthex. Return it next Sunday filled with change.
CELEBRATE YOUTH SUNDAY Our youth will be involved in leading worship next Sunday! This is a service you won’t want to miss!
MILESTONE ANNIVERSARIES We’re sorry there seems to be so much confusion about honoring milestone membership anniversaries on 30 May. All those who have been members for 50 or more years will be recognized every year. Members with less than 50 years of membership will be recognized only in 5-year-increments (5/10/15, etc. years).
ADULT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED The Outdoor Ministry of the Pacific Southwest District needs your help!! Looking for a way to serve this summer? We are in need of volunteers to help with summer camp! Do you love to hike? Can you do dishes? Can you shoot a bow and arrow? Even if you said no to these, we would still love your help. We are in need of trail guides, tent camp guides, game guides, craft guides, campfire guides, lifeguards, kitchen help, and counselors. Summer Camp volunteer dates are July 30th-August 7th. Can’t commit to a whole week? We will find a place for you for a day or two. Visit www.outdoorministry.org to register as a volunteer and we will get back to you! Got questions? We have answers! Contact us at info@outdoorministry.org
