ALTAR FLOWERS are given to the glory of God by Pastor Bill Fackler in loving memory of his wife, Margaret, whose birth date was April 28. Flowers are also given to the glory of God by Phyllis Price in celebration of the birthday of her sister, Judy Barnett, on 30 April.
A REMINDER OF GOD’S LOVE The additional bouquet of roses on the altar are from the more than 150 bushes on our church campus. They are a reminder to us of God’s love and constant provision for all our needs.
THANK YOU! Pastor Schaar greatly appreciates everyone’s offer to help him this past week while our secretary, Gina, was on vacation and he struggled with his hand injuries. Pastor carefully planned out the week, took things slowly and got everything done!
Thanks to all who offered to help!
TEDDY BEAR COLLECTION Congregation members and others are invited to join in this wonderful project for children who will visit their mothers on Mother's Day, not at home, but at Chino Women’s Prison. Help make their visit a comfortable one by donating a teddy bear, at least 8 inches in height. Please place in the Green Room or give to Ann Price, Harriet Dickens, Zora Oglesby or Carol Numrich. Gifts of cash may also be given and teddy bears will be purchased.
DOWNTOWN NEWSLETTER AVAILABLE Copies of “Downtown,” Issue #8, edited by our own Pastor Schaar, are available from the Information Rack in the Narthex.
