Yesterday was a quiet day overall. Not around town -- but for me.
The Parrotheads are in town (fans of Jimmy Buffett) . I always thought of myself as a Parrothead until I saw them up close and in action -- drunk, loud, obnoxious, and, from what my friends here in the service industry tell me, REALLY REALLY BAD TIPPERS.
Anyway, with them on every street, I spent most of the day and evening here at home. Had a great Black & Blue Cheeseburger at Cheeseburgers Key West (used to be called Cheeseburgers in Paradise until Jimmy Buffett sued the owners over copyright infringement). Anyway, enough Jimmy Buffett news.
Sat and listened to my buddy John on stage at Irish Kevins. Hope to get together for dinner with him within the next few days I am here still.
Jet Skiing again probably on Monday and Wednesday.
