Daily updates from Key West, Florida
Well Day Three already and I got out on the water yesterday for two hours on a wave runner. There was a nice little breeze coming up from TS Ida down in the Gulf so there was a good chop on the water which made for some challenge on the runner. After two hours on the runner I dropped by to see my buddy John perfom at Irish Kevin's (www.johnsolinski.com). Had a good meatloaf for dinner.
My morning walk is already out of the way.
My friends Brian and Paul arrive today from Long Island. Will probably have dinner with them as they begin to re-explore the island like I have spent the last couple days doing -- checking out the new stores and restaurants and commisserating the ones that have closed (including my favorite cigar store).
John is back on stage this morning at 11 am so after a couple hours in the sun I will go check him out again for a while. There is a cruise ship in town so his show promises to be extra funny as many cruisers seem to leave their sensibilities on the ship when they disembark...................
