OVER ONE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED PENNIES! Last Sunday’s “Mite Box” ingathering collected more than 1300 pennies (1368 to be exact) as well as more than 400 dimes. Altogether, between coin and currency, $159.00 was collected to directly benefit missions! Way to go!
PASTOR SCHAAR RECOVERS STOLEN VEHICLE! Pastor Schaar last Sunday earned the thanks of the Pasadena Police Department as he reported a vehicle seemingly abandoned for several days in our North Parking Lot. It turns out the vehicle had been stolen out of Los Angeles. It was impounded by the Pasadena Police, processed and returned to its rightful owner. This just goes to show that there is no such thing as a “typical day” around Historic First Lutheran.
