Feel tongue-tied and a little fearful when it comes to sharing your faith with others? You're not alone! “Equipping to Share” is here to help! Bible-based and interactive, “Equipping to Share” workshops draw on current research to provide timely, practical ways to recognize and engage the lost with the Gospel. Sponsored by Lutheran Hour Ministries and Historic First Lutheran Church of Pasadena, this “Workshop for Everyday Evangelism” comes to Pasadena on Saturday 21 February from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Our “Equipping to Share” Workshop on Saturday 21 February will be led by professionally trained mission trainer / coach, Traci Kohls.
Traci is from the Twin Cities area. She is committed to continuing in and sharing the faith given her in her Baptism.
Throughout the past fourteen years of ministry, the Holy Spirit has led Traci to serve the mission field, domestically and abroad! She has served congregations as a Director of Christian Education in Garland, TX; Barcelona, Venezuela; Glencoe, MN; and Chaska, MN. The Gospel has taken her to Germany, Taiwan and Canada. Throughout all of her experiences there are two things that are constant: the Gospel of Jesus Christ has no language barrier and a living faith is all about relationships! This has equipped her for her passion: empowering others to live the faith!
In May of 2007, she graduated with a Master's of Education in Family Education from the University of Minnesota. She is the Program Director for U4C (Urban Cross-Cultural College Consortium) in Minneapolis, MN and the Urban & Latino Ministry Outreach Coordinator at St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Bloomington, MN.
The $15.00 advance registration fee covers all materials, continental breakfast and lunch. For registration contact Firstpasa@aol.com or 626.793.1139 by 16 February.
