Sunday 18 January – Read John 17:6-19, making it your own personal prayer and goal for this week of Christian Unity.
Monday 19 January – Pray by name for your fellow members of Historic First Lutheran as they celebrate birthdays this week: Bill Files (18); Arline Pace (20); Nicko Avila (20); Michealene Melus (23).
Tuesday 20 January – Ask God to pour out His Spirit and His blessings upon President Obama. Pray for the United States of America on this Inauguration Day.
Wednesday 21 January – Thank God for reformers (like Dr. King) of every time and every place.
Thursday 22 January – Lift up in prayer all those affected by our current economy. Pray specifically by name for those you know who have lost jobs or are in serious crisis.
Friday 23 January – Pray that the light and love of Jesus Christ be shared clearly during our “Good Friday” Youth Outreach tonight.
Saturday 24 January – Pray for your two pastors, your church staff and for all volunteers who will serve you during worship tomorrow.
