I arrived "back home" (as I call it) in South Florida on Monday late afternoon after a crazy morning. I awoke at 2 a.m. and went to feed the dogs before leaving for LAX only to find my 13 year old Shepherd/Lab/Wolf missing. She had escaped the night before as I was taking out the trash and I didn't know it. A 4 am call to the police was followed by a 5:45 call to my parents. At about 8:30 a.m. Cody was found as I was in the air to Atlanta. She's home safe and sound and my vaction happiness has returned.
