DR KEN KLAUS PREACHES ON 115TH ANNIVERSARY

115th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION - Historic First Lutheran Church, Pasadena, CA celebrates its 115th Anniversary on Sunday, June 3, 2007. The day begins at 9:00 a.m. with Bible Study and Question & Answer with Pastor Ken Klaus of "The Lutheran Hour." A festive communion service follows at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Klaus as preacher. A buffet luncheon in the Parish Hall will follow the service at 12:30 p.m. Reservations for the luncheon are available at $15.00 per person. Three special books will be available for order at the celebration: 1) "The Life of Jesus," a study of Historic First Lutheran's stained glass windows; 2) "The BOPSS," The Best of Pastor Schaar's Sermons, gleaned from the 13 years of his ministry at Historic First Lutheran and 3) "I Didn't Know," a ton of little known facts about Historic First Lutheran.
